Deep and relaxed, this comforting and comfortable wine is richly saturated in black fruits and enticing oak spices while its supportive, fine-grained tannins are hardly noticeable at first. Ripe and extroverted, with a friendly blast of raspberry and black currant purée framed by singed tobacco, licorice, and alder. Hints of black vanilla are present on the finish as the fruit keeps pace. Drink now through 2045.
